Middle school was one of the best times of my life. I went to J.L. Newborn and later transferred to Valdosta Middle school. I still had the passion for music and wanted to become a star. I competed in talent shows, but I was going through probity and didn’t like how my voice was changing so I would do solo freestyle dances and produce a great show every time. The middle school days opened my eyes to fan support, different point of views, and even hate. I enjoyed every bit of it.
Going into Valdosta high school I was all about sports more than anything but I would come around to music every once in a while because people would constantly ask me to perform or make more music. I played football, ran track (100, 200, 4×1, & long jump) I made a song called “I Surrender” and it went viral in South Georgia. I was contacted by an A&R from Block Entertainment and other music industry specialists. I was also emailed about being a songwriter but I turned it down without any knowledge of where I could be now.
I graduated high school with honors and went on to Bethune-Cookman University where I started off as a music major but the area of study was not hard enough for me and I couldn’t find a love for it so I auditioned for the music program as a vocalist and got accepted right away. I just graduate from Bethune-Cookman University with a Bachelors degree in music recording technology concentrating in voice. From this music program I learned how to mix and master music, produce beats, the inside scoops on the music industry, time management, songwriting skills, I even started my own record label, Grown Man Records.
My goals are currently shaping into a success. I recently had my record label, Grown Man Records registered and copy written, and I have a team of promoters & graphic designers. With this record label I will sign real talent and mold these artists into true musicians of class and nobility. Other than being a CEO of a record label, I plan on continuing to create great success doing what I love, and that’s performing. I plan on taking my talents as a performer to the next level and becoming the most successful independent artists in the music industry. I built up a love for modeling and acting throughout my life and I plan on building up a great history from that as well.
Besides music I have a warm heart for creating equality throughout all humanity. I plan on creating a mentoring program for our male youth and open Academies of the Arts worldwide for all genres, ethnicities and ages.
My latest single, “Roll Wit Me” is on iTunes now. I produced the track and engineered the vocals myself. It’s my first official record on iTunes and available for sale everywhere.
