Artist Spotlight: We Choppin It Up With Aceron
How long have you been creating music?
I have been creating music since I was 16 years old.
Breakdown how you came up with your name and what does it mean?
My original name was Young Ace. I feel I outgrew that, and changed it to Aceron is a spin-off of my Favorite Watch Vacheron meaning it’s My Time.
Breakdown your style and sound?
My sound is pretty much a lifestyle. I kinda go with my mood. It’s very unorthodox.
How did “Wavy” come about and what is the concept behind the record and the video?
The song “Wavy” is more than a song. It’s a story. When I heard the beat it took me straight to the west coast. I wanted to create a story of the West-coast and The Midwest in its rawest form. We shot the video on location in Compton and Chicago to create the authenticity. Basically just two storylines tied into one from both of our points of view.
Where do you see your brand and career in the next 5 years?
The next 5 years Aceron and YBMG (Young & Brave Music Group) will be the biggest moving train.
