Life is all about the choices we make trying to find happiness, a harsh reality perfectly captured in F1‘s new single Chances.
The rising artist is no stranger to adversity, taking penitentiary chances that landed him in prison on felony drug trafficking charges. He didn’t let that stop him, doing his time and earning his freedom so he could follow his purpose: being a voice for people like him.
Chances showcases his artistic courage and versatility as the rapper delves into another side of his skills with a country music trapper anthem. F1 strays from the usual stereotypical glamorization of drug dealing and instead shows the economic and personal pressures that cause people to take such risky chances.
From the burden of drowning in debt and bills to feeling incapable of providing for the family because of a criminal record, “Chances” is a moving and authentic audiovisual experience. He conveys the highs and lows of that life throughout the song, taking dangerous chances so that he could live his dreams.
