Black Cotton is a project that cleverly gives insight into Black America from a black mans perspective. ‘Get Money’ and ‘Had Shit’ are the singles heading Black Cotton. Powerful lyrics and intricate instrumentals fuel this project. KobeGod receives the credit for executive production. The balance between uptempo songs, such as, ‘Gwapamala’ and down tempo songs, such as, DIe 4 is prolific. The album flow is smooth, every song has a purpose to lead you to the next. FlameThaKid is a 23 year old rapper and producer from Sumter, South Carolina. Last year he released a project titled DOPE and it lives up to it’s name. Black Cotton is his follow up project and it’s even better. It’s here!
