HAGEN’s “Smmr” was Produced/Engineered/Mixed/Mastered by Brian “BMR” Ramcharan at Clearlake Studios in North Hollywood, CA.
The song playfully implies that Love ain’t easy. The disparity between the highs and lows are what make it the most stimulating yet complex human experience. Long Island Singer/Writer and Rapper HAGEN explores this dichotomy over BMR’s booming and luxuriant instrumental while also referring to his own relationship with his woman.
Starting his career early on as the frontman to numerous Rock/Blues bands in his native (East Meadow) Long Island New York, HAGEN has come full circle proving there are no boundaries to his creative atmosphere. Growing up listening to D”Angelo, Musiq Soulchild and various Neo Soul acts, HAGEN has managed to tap into a unique sound that incorporates Soul, RnB, Pop and Hip Hop.
This Alternative RnB crooner uses his life experiences and vulnerability to deliver a fresh take and relatable nature to a Genre so widely loved. HAGEN developed a good foundation With his first three singles released late 2019 recorded in North Hollywood, CA. HAGEN sites 2020 as a busy year with a full project and several collaborations underway. His EP slated for Spring 2020 produced/Engineered by longtime Friend and Grammy nominated Producer Brian “BMR” Ramcharan.
