Big Trip is familiar with the journey that comes with life. In his return, he shares his most vulnerable self to the world in the latest single, titled “Just Bein Honest.” The Gabriel Eli-produced single references the classic Snoop Dogg and Pharrell Williams track “Drop It Like Its Hot” and allows Big Trip’s fans to experience the artist at his most confident as he shows his unwavering passion for the grind.
Big Trip’s new track shows the artist’s endless capabilities for hit-making over unfamiliar beats. “I got in my bag on this track and wanted to create something that’s never been heard before,” said Big Trip. “I wanted every bar and every flow to showcase my ability with a unique beat. I crafted a vibe anyone can bop to while showing lyricists I can hang with the best.”
Known for touring with Marc E. Bassy and opening for G-Eazy and G Herbo, the Tennessee native developed popularity. Outside touring, Big Trip music captured the charts with a debut at #5 and #36 on the iTunes Hip-Hop chart and #105 on the Top 200. “Just Being Honest” is the perfect origin point for newfound fans as the song prepares for the artist’s forthcoming project in development.
