On JAIoftheRise’s newest release “Hopscotch”, he expresses his vocal range and experimental cadences. This will be his latest visual teaming up with the talented Alex Mcgale from WoodyBoys Production which will be exclusively on GRM Daily. “Hopscotch” impresses with its youthful and energetic sonics and aesthetics to match.
JAIoftheRise, an enigma embodying the destined struggle to the top, breaks down all boundaries, expressing his emotions within music that tell his story. It’s undeniable to say that the neighbouring city of Toronto hasn’t influenced the Canadian born artist, you can catch glimpses of Toronto natives such as anders, Roy Woods, PARTYNEXTDOOR and The Weeknd within his music as he elegantly crafts a unique sound from his personal experiences and inner dilemmas.
Along with embracing his home town of Ottawa and revitalizing a new sound for city, he’s worked with incredible city talents like Svlm, The LJ, Carde Blanche and others. JAI also infuses flavours from his mother’s native country, It’s no wonder why he is called the “City’s Savour”.
JAIoftheRise is a rebellious outcast in his own lane and is unfazed by society’s views or perceptions of him.
