Independent label Kaieteur Records has released “Go-Dumb,” the second single off of “My Turn,” the debut album by urban pop artist Kimik X, and with steamy lyrics against a stylized beat, “Go-Dumb” is scorching.
“‘My Turn’ is going to be Kimik X’s break-out record,” said Kaieteur Records founder and president Michael Morian. “His first single, ‘Bug Out,’ is powering up the charts right now, and fans are already asking for more. We’re giving it to them with ‘Go-Dumb.’”
Produced by Platinum Sellerz, “Go-Dumb” features Kimik X’s smooth vocals over a minimalist backbeat. The single weaves dancehall and urban crossover mainstream flow for a fresh sound that just feels like summertime. “Go-Dumb” hooks the listener and doesn’t let go until the last technote fades. Kaeteur and Kimik X recently wrapped up the “Go-Dumb” video, which will soon be released to a global audience.
