Movie Monroe is an American rapper, producer and songwriter based in Las Vegas, NV. Monroe was born November 4, 1991 in Buffalo, NY. Monroe found his passion for music through his father, who was the lead singer in several bands. After his father passed away, Monroe would stray away from music until his later years.
Monroe stated his biggest influences as Muhammad Ali, Salvador Dali, Dr. Dre, Kanye West, Amy Winehouse, Snoop Dogg, Biggie, Tupac, The Game, 50 Cent, Kendrick Lamar, ScHoolboy Q, J. Cole, Kid Cudi, ASAP Rocky, Nirvana, Eminem, Nipsey Hussle, Lil Wayne, Oasis, The Weeknd, Frank Ocean and The Beatles. Monroe also stated he is influenced by all genres of music and art.
