Reign is from Richmond, Virginia, Highland Park area of North Richmond. Rap was always something Reign admired, but it was something he didn’t view as a real aspiration until 2011. After being shot in 2012 and occurring a near death experience, he vowed to make his dream come true no matter what by turning his life around for the good of all humanity. For his latest release, Reign drops of “White Phosphorus”—a slow winding, melodic single that not only comes across as authentic, but the raw qualities of the single instantly make the listener want to play it back.
