Virginia riser Jaye Alpha arrives to the scene with a new single titled, “Ice Cream”. The pop / trap track is all about having, wanting and getting flashy things. He combines a modern rap music sound with unique flow and high energy to keep fans engaged.
Jaye Alpha is a 19 y/o rapper hailing from Northern VA. He’s had a love for music and has been producing songs for years. Music has always been his passion, and now it’s time for the masses to witness his talent. Jaye has made a number of hits such as “Whippin”, “Walk up Flex”, “Madmax” and “Bad Habits” which all show his progression in music up to his latest tracks. “The LoLife EP” was his most recent drop in February and first project to his name. Since then, he has been pushing his new movement, “Yuck! Life”.
Jaye claims that this movement refers to people that don’t live in compliance to society’s perspective. “Yuck” represents the point-of-view of those that conform their lives to others’ opinions and are scared to be themselves. “Those are the people that hate on us. But I’m sure a lot of people can relate. With any journey to reach your goal, no matter what it is, there’s going to be people telling you what you can and can’t do. I refuse to listen to the noise”. With a new, brighter but surreal sound, Jaye Alpha continues to make his own lane within music as he reaches for the top.
