MEEKS is an enterprising young rapper out of Detroit, Michigan. At 20 years old he is relatively new to recording his music, but has been writing songs since around the age of 12. In his short time recording records he has amassed a number of solid songs to add to his discography. Songs like Worda’ Mouth, Rebel, and THRAXX with his counterpart, LiL A$htray. With the ability to bounce from bass-heavy, catchy tunes to deep rooted, lyrical odes MEEKS has a high ceiling with infinite potential. Be on the look out for more work from this rising talent out of the mitten.
“Rebel” is the first single off of the MEEKS and LiL A$htray’s joint- EP, “Token and Tweak”. The six song EP can be found on MEEKS’s Soundcloud (Ameeksofficial), and includes high energy tracks like THRAXXX and mellow, spacey tracks like “IDGAF”.
