Now Entertainment LLC is based in Gordon, GA. This is a record label of sorts, disrupting listenership metrics and setting trends in Atlanta is what they do every day. With a little digging on their Twitter account and Facebook page, one gets an entirely new perspective of the label that was just a few years ago an idea on paper.

Underground music is starting to show signs of breaking to a broad audience, so stay tuned for more hits from Now Entertainment. Word on the streets is that Tony and his crew are working on a new music software that will revolutionize live streaming. If that happens then, real hip-hop will not live underground anymore.

The streets are where these talents were nurtured. Talk of old-school-style rap battles. That was Tony M Fountain when he was in elementary school. Some of these contests would end up violently, and subsequently, he was incarcerated in a juvenile prison for six months. Tony schooled with his nephew’s brother –SK who would later turn to be one of the brightest stars at Now Entertainment.

Fast-forward a few years ahead, Tony met with Kryke Kooly, who used to sleep on his couch. They came up with the idea of a record label together while cleaning floors in a bank, since they belonged to a cleaning company and were trying to learn more about it so that one day they could open one on their own and have financial stability. Other pioneer artists in the group include DJ TLK2EM, Silly Slim and recently piffyDaKid, JOOK JONES, Gudda, JHUGH.

Kryke got arrested for dealing Cocaine and was imprisoned for a while. While he was in prison, Tony M Fountain went ahead and legally started a music empire out of their shared idea. Kryke was a furious man staring at his prison walls everyday wishing for the day he will get out.

However, upon his release, they straightened things out with Tony.

Toughened by the streets, Now Entertainment’s hip-hop squad knows no limits. They have managed to kick down many doors and have employed sneaky tactics to take control of radio waves. Watch out for part 2 of their 478 Gang Mix tape.
