“Make A Change” is the latest single from up and coming artist, G Quick featuring Kansas artist T-Rell. Coming from East Moline, IL, G Quick’s latest release is about overcoming the problems that come along with living a fast life in the streets.

This track is not so much of a confession as it is a testament of someone who knows there’s something more than what street life has to offer, and searching for that something. “Make A Change” gives insight to the thoughts of a person that wants to right past wrongs, let go of a mentality and lifestyle that, while sounds good in the beginning, shows its ugly side in the end. The lyrics you can tell are coming from someone who knows when it’s time to evolve as a person for their family.

The T-Rell feature only enhances the song, as his hook brings a melody that compliments the Mad Chemist produced beat, while adding even more substance to G Quick’s subject matter, which can be felt by insiders and outsiders alike who know what it’s like to truly want to make a change for the better.

While I’m sure we’ll get more upbeat and turn up tracks from G Quick in the future, right now “Make A Change” is a welcome entry as he sheds what was and steps into what will be.
