Samad M is a conscious rapper poised to lead a new wave of deep thinking lyricists in the modern hip hop arena. Born to parents, Kisha and Mark Mills, in Greensboro, NC . Samad spent his early childhood years in Albany, GA before moving permanently to Durham, NC. Samad is an artist whose ethos is based on being conscious of one’s self at all times. That’s the spirit that serves as the foundation of Samad’s creative style, recognizing, accepting and staying true to who you are. The combination of these things to include Samad’s lyrical content have earned him the moniker “The Eternal One”.

The hip-hop industry has experienced ebbs and flows of different styles within the music genre over the years. These styles include the foundation of Hip-Hop starting with East Coast Rap, the gang culture laden melodies of Gangsta Rap, the controversial return to the basics of Southern Rap to the current thought-provoking rhymes of conscious rap.
