New York Rapper aGreen Will Release New EP
“Fashionably Late” on March 16
LOS ANGELES, CA – New York is often credited as the mecca of authentic hip-hop music. When it comes to rapper aGreen, this authenticity shines through allof his original music. After he began writing his own lyrics at age 13, aGreen knew his deep-rooted passions would one day become a full-fledged career. After buckling down and getting serious about his craft in 2011, he has yet to stop pressing forward to achieve his musical dreams.
When it comes to his overall artistry, it’s no surprise that aGreen is self-taught. “I’ve always been passionate about the art form. I started recording my own music, and kept doing it from there on. Now, it feels like I’m at a point where I’m confident in my product, and I’m ready to present it to the masses,” said aGreen. Essentially, aGreen is a true fan of everything that music represents, and has developed this into his own artistic flair. When it comes to genres, aGreen never limits himself, as he is drawn to anything that moves him. Much like the boss that he has become, he respects all those alike in the industry.
The CEO mentality and originality shines through in aGreen’s brand new EP titled “Fashionably Late”. All seven tracks represent an introduction to aGreen’s signature brand, as he has directed every single visual behind it. “Nowadays in the industry, it’s about the content you release. It’s an introduction to the long career of me. My sound is mad cool, but with a laidback lyrical vibe. I’m trying to get a message across, so there is knowledge sprinkled in there,” said the artist. Fans will definitely want to take a listen to his lead single “Shot Taken” if they haven’t already. The hot track has already raked in over 15,000 plays on SoundCloud alone. The EP will be available for release on March 16.
What’s up next in the world of aGreen? He has been steadily staying busy while doing visuals for “Fashionably Late”, and also recording his next project called “Before and After”, which will consist of 10-11 tracks. As his music needs to be heard all over, he plans to book a few shows, and get on the road for the album. aGreen fans are definitely in luck- there’s more music on the way, as this is just the beginning.
