GodKing Lotto forms rap royalty collaboration for his latest single, “3 Kings”
LOS ANGELES, CA – Hot on the heels of the release of his mega-fly single, “Extra Fly,” comes a sizzling new song from GodKing Lotto called “3 Kings.” For this project, GodKing considered several artists, deciding that a rapper who is popping right now, Yella Beezy (“Rich MF”, “That’s On Me”), was the perfect fit. His good friend, Jefe Rey, joined the party and the trio gave the song it’s title since, as GodKing puts it, “We some kings!”
Interestingly, GodKing first created the hot verse years ago when he was clowning around on YouTube at a relative’s party. A perennial talent who clearly was ahead of his time, GodKing can take a verse from back then and still make it relevant today.
An extreme professional, GodKing flew in Yella Beezy first class and put him in a fly hotel, then enlisted Director/Videographer Scotty Baker, whom he’s worked with in the past. After recording the song in Paramount Studios, they went on to record the music video. GodKing, who always wanted to direct music videos, decided on two locations (which are as different as the nighttime and daytime they were shot in): the parking lot in front of his convenience store in Compton and the inside of a church! The result is a popping and super fresh video.
The prolific and hardworking GodKing Lotto has a message to deliver and more people to deliver it to. “3 Kings” is a delicious taste of more to come. Working on releasing a string of slamming singles, GodKing assures us that “I’ve got some fire that’s hotter than that!” He declared that “Break Me Off My Cake,” the single which was meant to drop before “3 Kings,” will further showcase his talent.
GodKing Lotto is a personable, highly energetic rapper who has a lot to say and has different ways he can bring it. A lyrical artist who loves busting people in the head with lyrics, his lyrics are inspired by his own real life experiences. “Real always gets the respect,” he stated. “I just pride myself in being as real as possible, delivering my lyrics in a unique fashion to where it’s catchy and clever.”
